Young improvisers wanted!
HEY YOU!
YOU are invited to audition either Tuesday April 22nd or Wednesday April 23rd at 8pm for the Ultimate Ensemble!
You do not need to prepare anything for the audition, just bring a headshot
and resume (but if you don't have either don't let that stop you from
auditioning). Expect to be at the theatre for 2 hours. The audition is
set up just like a typical rehearsal. We will play different improv games
and see if you can take direction. Just try to relax and have fun.
What is the Ultimate Ensemble? It is our entry level team at Ultimate
Improv. The Ensemble runs in 7-week sessions, each session ends with a
show for friends and family. Each 7-week session costs $175. The Ultimate
Ensemble is where we scout for our Main Stage Players. All of our Main
Stage players started out at Ultimate Improv in the Ultimate Ensemble.
Ultimate Improv has been located in Westwood for over seven years. We have
had our actors move on to TV, FILM, COMMERCIALS and other awesome Improv
Clubs (like Boom Chicago in Amsterdam). We are a tight-knit group of actors
from the LA area that strive for growth as comedians, actors, and
performers. Our philosophy is we will do what we think is fun, interesting
and important and the audience comes second. We aren't performing for the
commerce aspect of Improv Comedy, we're trying to take risks to create
something that you can't find anywhere else. It is a great place to begin
or continue your improv comedy career.
